Downloading FactalWorkbench Software
FactalWorkbench embodies the HaveNWant Schemata as a set of objects, which can be composed into Networks and which simulate interesting cognitive functions to be studied. This page holds information about the current version of the software, FactalWorkbench Ver3.0, which runs on a MAC running El Capitan operating system.FactalWorkbench source code is available on bitbucket. On a Mac, the command line 'git clone https://bitbucket.org/pallenking/factalworkbenchb.git' should do the trick.
A precompiled version of FactalWorkbench is available as a .dmg file.
Installation and running instructions can be found in the included README file. Many interesting developmental notes are in the file ./notes with .pdf extensions. These files are somewhat dated and many (e.g files t*) are debug notes of little value.
Currently operation under Windows OS is not supported. Operation on a PC can be had using a Mac Emulator, as in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OMLCJ0JMK9Q .
